– To sing this seven-part hymn with only four parts, omit the upper Soprano part, the lower Tenor part, and the upper Bass part (in this case basses can sing the higher G's if necessary).  The Soprano and Tenor parts are doubled as written, so for example a choir with no tenors could use both Soprano parts instead.
